The Lindhaus PB12e 12" Electric Powerhead is a professional-grade motorized carpet power nozzle designed for compatible central vacuum systems, canister vacuums and backpack vacuums. Electric Powerhead for Central Vacuum Systems
The Lindhaus PB12e is a true electric powerhead, not an air-driven turbo brush. A dedicated motor drives the rotating brush roller independently of the vacuum's airflow, providing consistent agitation for cleaning carpet and rugs.
For central vacuum applications, the PB12e requires a compatible electric central vacuum hose and wand capable of supplying power to the nozzle. It can also be paired with compatible canister and backpack vacuum systems.
Adjustable Carpet Height
The PB12e features manual brush height adjustment so the powerhead can be properly set for different carpet pile heights. Lindhaus specifies a brush-height adjustment range of approximately 1–10 mm.
Electronic controls assist with finding an effective brush setting, helping maintain proper brush contact with the carpet without placing unnecessary resistance on the motor and drive system.
Cogged Belt & Electronic Overload Protection
The Lindhaus PB12e uses a cogged timing belt to transfer power from the electric brush motor to the brush roller. The toothed belt provides positive brush drive for consistent carpet agitation.
An electronic overload system helps protect the brush motor and transmission if the brush encounters excessive resistance or becomes blocked. This combination of a serviceable brush roller, cogged belt drive and electronic protection is one of the reasons the PB12e is commonly used in both residential and commercial vacuum applications.
Replacing a Central Vacuum Powerhead?
