Air-Driven Carpet Cleaning
Airflow from the central vacuum spins the Zoom EX's internal turbine, which drives the rotating brush roller. This combines suction with mechanical brush agitation to help loosen dirt, debris and hair from carpet and rug fibres.
Since the Zoom EX does not require electricity, it is a convenient way to add a rotating carpet brush to a low-voltage central vacuum hose. As with any air-driven turbo nozzle, brush speed and cleaning performance depend on the airflow supplied by the central vacuum system.
Central Vacuum Compatibility
The TurboCat Zoom EX fits standard 1.25" (32mm) vacuum wands and is compatible with many Cyclovac, Beam, Vacuflo, Hayden, Cana-Vac, Drainvac, AirVac, Johnny Vac, Imperium, Husky, NuTone and Broan central vacuum systems. Compatibility is determined primarily by the wand connection rather than the brand of central vacuum canister.
